Now, I DEFINITELY KNOW that THIS'LL CERTAINLY PROVOKE STRONG FEEDBACK, REGARDLESS, which is what THIS is meant for: you know, for the LONGEST, I've ALWAYS EMBRACED the VERY IDEA, which is UNFORTUNATELY VERY UNLIKELY TO HAPPEN, BUT NEVER, EVER RULED OUT from EVER HAPPENING, as NOTHING, in THIS life, EVER IS, of the following: CO-ED PUBLIC RESTROOMS, AS WELL AS the PRISON SYSTEM, as having CO-ED CELLS.
Now, as far as the RESTROOMS are concerned, there ought to be stalls that are large enough to accomodate TWO toilets, so that if any male and female wanna go in TOGETHER, they COULD. The ONLY CONCERN, which I've got the VERY SOLUTION, is that if there are CHILDREN, NO CHILD would be allowed to go, unaccompanied by TWO ADULTS OF THE OPPOSITE SEX, AND THE OPPOSITE SEX, ONLY.
OF COURSE, REGARDLESS of GAY AND LESBEIAN RIGHTS, ALL SAME-SEX RESTROOMS, HYPOTHETICALLY, would be NULL, VOID, DISCONTINUED, AND OUTLAWED.
JUST FOR THE RECORD. I am NOT AGAINST GAYS, NOR AM I AGAINST LESBEIANS, THEMSELVES, but it's ONLY THE LIFESTYLE that I'm against--I DO have friends that are gay, who are VERY WELL AWARE of my anti-gay-and-Lesbeian position, AND ACTUALLY ALLOW ME TO EXPRESS IT, YET, in total respect of THEM, I would NEVER DISPLAY SUCH EXPRESSION IN FRONT OF THEM, PUBLICLY, but ONLY OVER THE PHONE, or in the company of a SELECT group.
As far as the PRISON SYSTEM is concerned, ALL CELLS, not only would be CO-ED, but that if ANY HOMOSEXUAL-AND/OR-LESBEIAN ACTIVITY were going on, and there'd be ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR IT, QUITE OBVIOUSLY, the punishment would be to extend the prison sentence an extra six months, UNLESS IT'S ALREADY A LIFE TERM, and that the offenders, regardless of their sexual preference, would be LOCKED, INDEFINITELY, in a TWO-PERSON-CELL-ONLY unit, TOGETHER, BUT ONLY TWO of the OPPOSITE SEX.
Now, OF COURSE, as I said in the VERY BEGINNING of this message, FOLKS are DEFINITELY gonna be FIRED UP, and I could HARDLY WAIT for my VERY FIRST OPPONENT, IF ANY should respond, in which case, so be THAT, as well.
well I have no comment on the qrisson thing since I never hope to be there but I don't agree with the co-ed bathrooms. First off if people wanna screw around they can do it at home not in public secondly a bathroom stall is meant for privacy you know for doing buisness in your own personal space without it being invaded. And I'm typing fast so if there's issues with spelling o well I don't feel like fixing it

As to why I feel the need for there to be co-ed public restrooms WOULD be to CUT CONSIDERABLY DOWN, IF NOT COMPLETELY OUT, the possible likelyhood of a homosexuality/Lesbeian-provokative atmosphere, and being that these stalls WOULD BE EQUIPPED with HIGH-QUALITY LOCKS (whatever THAT would mean), and that they would be SOUNDPROOF, with the exception of toilet-flushing, of course, there WOULD be privacy, in THAT case.
Now, for those "HARD-CORE-GAY-LESBO-BI" folks, who would have it NO OTHER WAY, BUT "SAME-SEX" would be MANDATED, BY LAW, to be moved to ANY SUCH COUNTRY, FAR, FAR AWAY, SO FAR, that it would be TOTALLY beyond ANY WORLD MAP'S RECOGNITION, so that they'll DEFINITELY BE FREE to live THEIR WAY, WHICH THEY CERTAINLY have EVERY SINGLE RIGHT TO, SIMPLY BECAUSE they'll be out of OUR way, and we wouldn't EVER have to be SUBJECTED to their "LIFE-STYLE-BEHAVING EXISTENCE." The ONLY GAYS, BI'S, AND LESBOES that would be TOTALLY EXEMPT, are those that keep THEIR shit "IN THE CLOSET," and AS LONG as they "ACT ABSOLUTELY STRAIGHT," even though they're NOT, JUST LIKE the gay friends that I DO have, that WOULD, they have ABSOLUTELY EVERY SINGLE RIGHT to live among us, use our public co-ed restrooms, and so on, knowing that the ONLY TIME that they can "GET FAGGOTTY," and/or "GET LESBEIANISH," is when they're in their OWN home, WITH ALL SHADES/CURTAINS COMPLETELY BLOCKING ALL OF THE PUBLIC VIEW.
I should be offended as a child of two lesbians, but I'm not. I find you histerical. I'll be laughing about this well into the night. Thank the gods most people don't think this way. However, I'm glad that you're not the type to go political or to force your views on others with violence or proselitising. If your gay friends know how you feel and can live with it, so be it. As for here, this is, after all, a board for expressing ideas, and you do have the right to do so. Besides, controversy is a good thing in my book. It makes us examine our beliefs and explain them more thorroughly. Now here's a hypothetical situation. What if there's someone who's a transexual, who has gone through, full surgery. Say, just for the hell of it, it's an mtf (male to female) who likes men and there's a born female there as well. According to you, should these two be able to be in the same bathroom stall or prison cell, since they're women, or would the mtf always be considered a man by you?
Personally I would like to see the lot of them go and live on another planet. I think the way they flont their sexuality out there is just sick and wrong, and everyone should not have to see that they are gay, and I think they should take normal peoples reaction into consideration. I don't have anything against their life stile, but I think that is not something I would want my kids exposed to, I think all gay people should be made to live in a third world country, so that they won't keep on infecting normal people with aidsand God knows what else. I think they are a helth risk to all people, As for have a unisex bathroom doesn't makes cencde. If people want to get it on , then that is why there are hotells, and establishments like that. The idea that people would have a bathroom at their use for sex, I would have wonder if you have lost your mind. That is just nasty.
I believe that all homosexuals should be given early release from prison so they can practice their lifestyle in the privacy of their own home.
WELL, EMERALD, if I actually DID lose my mind to the VERY GOD-CHOSEN LADY, who'd be my LIFELONG SPOUSE, it was DEFINITELY WORTH LOSING; to therebetisa, you're ABSOLUTELY CORRECT: an MTF is STILL A MALE, from the VERY TIME OF CONCEPTION. THAT MEANS: the VERY SAME STIPPULATION STILL STANDS, EVEN FOR MTF'S, AS ABOVE-POSTED for male-to-male and/or female-to-female-interactive behavior.
emerald, lets just say, gays are human too, and what difference then others? If they go to the doctors for a check up for aids and hivs, everything should be fine. Besides, they can't have any offsprings, so why be so offended? Just let them be. If you come from the cristian sense, then I should tell you most are against muslims too, so reconsider.
Yeah, I have a question. What if women or men wants to go to the bathroom alone, without a partner? Are they supposed to be banished?
This whole discussion has kept me laughing.
The transexuals would insist that they are, since their surgery, the sex they have always wanted to be and should have been since birth. Their surgery is a correction of an error. If the transexual person believes wholeheartedly that he or she is is now definitely male or female, should they be able to be in the bathroom with the person of the opposite sex?
The interesting thing would be in prison where the transexual may be considered to be of the same sex they were at birth. In this case, the transexual who is heterosexual would be at an advantage because he or she would always be hAVING SEX WITH SOMEONE THEY CONSIDERED AS THE OPPOSITE SEX.
However, this isn't always true either. I once met a transexual who became a woman but claimed to be a lesbian.
REPETITIOUSLY, or SOMEWHAT REPETITIOUSLY, if not TOTALLY, ANYONE of the above-mentioned categories, should be free to go to ANY RESTROOM OF THEIR CHOICE; the ONLY BEEF that I have is the CURRENT STATUS of IMPOSED SAME-SEX RESTROOMS.
ok. you have not explained why you feel this way. the whole reason that we have same sex bathrooms and single stalls in each is so that males and females cannot have sex and can respect each others privacy. and the concept of stalls is for privacy. a 2-toileted stall meant for a male and female to use together is not private or appropriate. personally i would not want to go to the bathroom with another female, let alone a strange , possibly sexually frustrated, male to come in after me for an excuse to look at my private parts or whatever. the very idea of doublefemale/male stalls sickens me because if that were to happen, it would encroach on our right to privacy and dignaty.
oh and here is my opinion of children not being allowed to go without 2 members of the opposite sex present. dude, what the fuck are you thinking? no child needs to be exposed to that.
You think you'd be ok with going to the bathroom with a complete stranger. don't think so. As far as gays and lesbieans, that is their lifestyle, and as long as they are not bothering you then you should be ok and live your own life like everyone else who are trying to in this world. What happened to respect for one another?
